The lonely side of the mountain

 For some people, the trip never ends

they keep falling over and over again

when you find yourself down there at the bottom 

you will still find a friend 

all you have to do is call him

but some people never hit bottom

they keep on sliding through

without a thought for what's in front of them

or even care for the damage left behind them 

that's why it's better to turn back before time expires

don't use up too many second chances

nobody knows how many God gives

if one of his people comes sliding down 

the lonely side of the mountain.
